Medicare (Dis)advantage Plans

Updated: Dec 23, 2023

Medicare Advantage is a scam

Medicare Advantage plans (Medicare Part C) are run by for-profit

companies that make billions off of taxpayers like you and me

These plans limit your choice of doctors, deny care, and force physicians to

use less effective medications for your eye issues. This can be critically

important for patients with macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion or

diabetic retinopathy.

These plans harass physicians for medical records and then use those records to

commit fraud by claiming their patients are sicker than the average

Medicare patients receive more money from the government. Money

that is never used to provide better service, but instead is used to pay top

executives and their shareholders on Wall Street. All while tricking patients

into signing up for these plans by bribing primary care physicians and

brokers to enroll patients, and providing “perks” like free dog grooming or

free glasses. Nowhere do they mention poorer service, longer waits or

denied care.

Some patients can’t afford traditional Medicare and enroll in these plans to

avoid paying for a supplement. If you are in this group, consider

Medicare and Medicaid if you qualify. Also, look at all supplement plans,

some are quite affordable. Whatever you do, know your choices and

understand the consequences.

18% of needed care denied- literally killing patients

How to Avoid Medicare (Dis) Advantage Plans

  1. Open Enrollment, Oct 15th - Dec 7th, or anytime with a qualifying event

  2. Go Traditional Medicare Part B. Find a supplement plan that works for you.
