  • Why do FAQs matter?
    FAQs are a great way to help site visitors find quick answers to common questions about your business and create a better navigation experience.
  • Do you see kids?
    Yes, we see patients of all ages. We primarily see kids for urgent issues and inflammatory disease. For more common pediatric issues like glasses, lazy eyes, or misalignments we can help refer you to a Pediatric Specialist.

  • Do you sell glasses?
    No. Places that sell glasses are called Opticals which we do not operate.
  • Do you fit contacts?
    No, there are lots of optometrists in the community that are excellent in fitting contact lens. We do treat contact related issues like eye pain, infection, and red eye.
  • Do you do vision exams?
    Vision exams are covered by "vision insurance," which we do NOT accept. Common plans are VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, etc. Vision exams are primarily for the measurement for glasses or contacts (refraction) and contacts. These include a basic screening exam to look for medical concerns. We do take medical insurance and treat non-glasses-related issues of the eye. We do offer glasses prescriptions for a cash charge.
  • How long will my appointment be?
    Our goal is to get you in and out quickly, but needs vary, you many need time for dilation to take effect and obtain multiple tests. Most appointment take 30-60min, It's possible your appointment could take up to 2 hours.
  • Where can I add my FAQs?
    FAQs can be added to any page on your site or to your Wix mobile app, giving access to members on the go.
  • Do I need a referral?
    Referrals are not needed to become a patient at our office. Some insurances require a "referral" or authorization from your PCP in order for your visit to be paid for. The following insurance typically or always requires this authorization: VA Tricare Prime PACE most HMO plans including medicare advantage HMO
  • Who do I contact for questions about my bill?
    If bill is from Vision Institute or for services received at Vision Institute. Call 719.559.2020 For Services received at SoCo Eye Specialists call 866-757-8140 ext 12049
  • How do I pay my bill?
    You can pay in person, over the phone, or log in to your patient portal to pay.
  • Why am I receiving multiple bills for surgery?
    There are multiple service providers involved with surgery. The surgeon, the anesthesiologist and the surgery center. You may receive an independent bill or explanation of benefits for each one of these services.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
